Europa League
all times Zurich time
Every round
10 rounds · 80 tiesThe Europa League is UEFA's second club competition. 36 clubs contest the league phase — one shared table, eight matches each — 13 entering directly (Crystal Palace among them, as Conference League holders), twelve coming through a play-off round, and eleven dropping in from Champions League qualifying defeats. Its own qualifying is small and every tie is two-legged; a Europa League qualifying loser drops into the Conference League rather than out of Europe. After the league phase the top eight go straight to the round of 16, clubs placed 9th to 24th meet in a two-legged knockout play-off, and the bottom twelve are out. The final is in Frankfurt on 26 May 2027. UEFA publishes all dates as subject to change.
